Dubois V Joyce Announced For April 11th At The 02 Arena In London – Official Trailer & Preview

Dubois Vs Joyce At Heavyweight

Two unbeaten heavyweights look to put it all on the line for the possibility to earn a potential shot at a world title later this year.

The announcement was expected yesterday as Frank Warren dropped a few hints about a Big Heavyweight match for April and we can honestly say that we are buzzing for this one.

Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois will be the heavy betting favourite for this one and we can’t wait to see how it plays out. The young man has gone from strength to strength and knockout to knockout ending the year in emphatic fashion and being particularly busy. The 22 year is 14-0 with 13 knockouts and we suspect he will have a little bit too much for Joyce.

Joe ‘Juggernaut’ Joyce is 34 years old and is a late comer to the boxing scene with plenty of martial arts experience backing him up in the ring. But this is not martial arts, it is boxing and Joe Joyce’s come forward style where he is happy to take one to give one, might not be the best idea against the heavy handed Daniel Dubois, who trains at the Peacock gym in London with Martin Bowyers.

Joe Joyce is the first heavyweight trained by  respected trainer Adam Booth since David Haye and he joins a talented stable of fighters including Josh Kelly and Mick Conlon and hes most impressive from 10 contests came against the experienced Bryant Jennings in his last outing

We are absolutely buzzing for this one and we also hope to see some big names like Michael Conlon making it onto the undercard. We will bring you all the news as it unfolds.

Joe Joyce once shared a ring in a pro-am bout with Oleksander Usyk, pushing him all the way and Daniel Dubois is tipped to be a serious contender for a world title this year or next. Rev your engines folks, this one is only 2 months away and counting!
