Meister are one of the brands that we have only discovered recently and so far we’ve been really happy with the gear that they offer, especially this new body protector that looks and performs really well.
Material
This one is made using synthetic leather and it actually looks like body armour that a police officer would use. It is durable and high quality and built to last for a number of years under heavy use.
Padding for protection
This one protects all the areas that need soon and it even protect the groin from stray knees or teeps.
The pattern extends on this one two three and a half inches in each of the sweet spots to offer the most protection on this list.
It covers the chest, obliques, ribs and abs with the high impact density absorbing the punches of even the heaviest hitters.
Design and price

3. RDX Boxing Chest Guard
If you have been reading a lot of my reviews you know that I’m a big fan of RDX and my Thai shin pads made by RDX as well, you get the best quality for a very reasonable price and these are our budget option for body protectors.
Material
These are made from maya hide synthetic leather which is the most durable synthetic leather available on the market today and RDX are well known to produce that lasts a good number of years.
Padding and protection
What we like about this one is that it offers protection for the chest which is definitely a target for a job or a straight right hand so it’s handy to have it.
Does extra protection around the sweet spots that are hand stitched on and can absorb a lot of punishment with their standard Eva-luation high density foam.
This one has sponge padding inside and a shock absorption sheet the offer as much protection as possible in a lightweight design.
This one doesn’t have as much protection as the others with discussed so if you’re training hard hitting heavyweights you may have to go with one of the heavier options.

This is a simple and minimal design that covers all the areas it needs to. It’s got two over the shoulder straps and one around the back that are interlaced, to make it a perfect fit and keep your hands completely free to hold the mitts
Overall we really like this one for $60 and it is well worth the purchase.

4. Title Platinum Body Protector
The title platinum body protector is a premium choice for trainers all around the world. This one’s got a ton of padding so it’s especially suitable for training heavy punches and kickers.
Material
This is made of highly durable PVC Nylon outer layer that can take the biggest shots without cracking stretching a showing signs of stress for many years of use.
Inside a special layered cell foam which is really built to take a good pounding.
Padding and protection
This is what we really liked about this protector, but it won’t cover all of the chest it does have 3 inches of internal padding that absorbs the impact of the punches extremely well and allows you to take hooks and full for straights without feeling a huge impact.
Around the sides the padding is heavy as well offering complete protection to the trainer.
Design and price
This one has two straps that go around the shoulders with extra padding and another strap that goes around the waist allowing one size to fit almost anybody.
Also got markers on the front and around the sides that guide the fire to aim at the sweet spot every time.
This one comes in at around $80 and at that price we think it’s great value for one of the best protectors on the market today.

Contender fight Sports are a strong newcomer to the boxing Gear market and this body protector will absorb with the heaviest of shots.
Material
this one is made of a highly durable synthetic leather packing take big punches and not wear out and it’s got a nylon strapping as well for comfort and durability.

this one is hand-stitched in Thailand with high-quality Syntek leather and this is probably the highest quality body protector on the list but it is a little bit more expensive.

What we like about this one is that it offers complete protection for the belly, chest, ribs and liver.
It has a hard outer shell and 3 very soft inner padding layers that can absorb the punches of heavyweights without causing any discomfort to trainer.

This one has 3 sweets parts for the fighter to aim at, one on the front and two around the sides to to throw the hooks at.
It’s car to straps for over the shoulders and one around the back that are adjustable and made of nylon to ensure a comfortable and secure fit that doesn’t move around during the session.
This one is a little more expensive at 140 but if you’re dealing with the heaviest of punchers, this is probably the best option.
